Labor Day Parade

Labor Day is a chance to reflect on the many hard-won battles of the American Labor Movement, and as such, is a nationally revered and recognized holiday. This year, SMART Local 71 is participating in the Buffalo Labor Day Parade and Picnic, to be held on Labor Day, September 5, 2022 at 11:00am in South Buffalo. Buses will be transporting attendees and marchers from the Peter J. Crotty Casino at Cazenovia Park to parade line-up from 10:30am-11:45am. This year’s parade will start on Dorrance Ave in Lackawanna and head back to the Peter J. Crotty Casino. This is a family-friendly event and we’ll be handing out candy along the route, as well as having a picnic in Cazenovia Park at the end.
